Monday 12th March

It’s the last week of the cafe at The Gamecock Pub, so we want to see you if you haven’t been down yet! Plenty on today, from life drawing to Mexican food:

13:00 – 15:00 Dr Bike- Learn to fix your bike!

14:00 – 18:00 Learn How to Cook Vegan Food
Yesterday we had Greek food and the theme for today is Mexican… This is an opportunity to fine tune your chopping, spicing and food tasting skills! Every day at the OKCafe volunteers prepare a delicious evening meal for all. If you would like to help with this but are not yet confident at cooking for lots of people then this is the workshop for you! So if you have enjoyed the food at the café, come along and learn how to make it…

18:00 – 20:00 Climate Activist Development Scheme
Using the “Climate Activist Development Scheme”
What is it? How does it work? An opportunity to try out an early version of a tool for finding out what you already know and can do, and then sharing those skills and knowledge with other people.

18:00 – 20:00 Life drawing
An opportunity for people of all levels and experience to attend a life drawing session with a nude model. Please bring any materials and surfaces to draw on that you have – this doesn’t have to be traditional! Some ideas to get you started: old house paint, scissors, charcoal, stamp ink pads, cardboard, envelopes, wood, wallpaper.

20:00 – 22:00 Poetry Circle
A safe space in which to express your creativity through the form of poetry or writing. Bring your own words or other peoples that match your emotions and share.
